INFORMATION SUPPORT

LENMORNIIPROEKT has a voluminous collection of codes, standards and specifications (more than 14.5 thousand items) covering all lines of our activity.

International and Russian codes and standards used in the design work and available in the library stock of LENMORNIIPROEKT are kept in the order specified by the QMS documented procedures in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 requirements.

LENMORNIIPROEKT maintains a continuously updated electronic database of domestic and imported equipment and materials containing 17500 entries.

SOFTWARE

The design software includes both the well-known application programs (ARKO, Project Studio-Architecture, SCAD, Plaxis Professional, FOK, GEONICS Topoplan-Relief, Credo, POTOK, Magi Cad, START, "Ekolog" Unified Air Pollution Calculation Program, "Gidrosistema", ???, Project Expert, Primavera, Parus) and proprietary software.

Geoinformation modelling is performed with the help of Arc/Info and Arcview.

HARDWARE

Each design workstation is equipped with a PC. At the beginning of 2005 LENMORNIIPROEKT had 360 PCs connected to a LAN comprising 13 servers. Computer facilities of LENMORNIIPROEKT are regularly renewed.

Prepared documentation is sent to networked laser/jet plotters and printers. At the Client's request design and survey documents are delivered both in hard and soft copies. The workstations are connected to the Internet via a 2Mbps dedicated line.

LENMORNIIPROEKT has the necessary copying machines, peripheral and book-binding equipment, etc.

Modern European and American sampling equipment available with LENMORNIIPROEKT allows sampling of virtually all types of bottom soils with layer thickness 2-3 m at a water depth up to 25 m from any floating craft or, in the winter time, from the ice. Sampling positioning is carried out with the help of modern navigation equipment.

In 2003-2004 LENMORNIIPROEKT renewed its metering equipment, virtually fully re-equipped the modern eco-chemical and geotechnical laboratories, purchased a hydraulic system and Cygnus thickness meter for Experimental & Production Department, and a new drilling rig for the survey work, renewed its motor vehicle pool.
