Commissioning of more than 30 projects including two new ports in the Gulf of Finland (specialised oil port in Primorsk and start-up complex of the coal terminal in Ust-Luga including the approach channel and harbour basin).
In 2003 LENMORNIIPROEKT embarked on a project to design a General Purpose Transshipment Terminal in Ust-Luga. The Terminal is intended for the transshipment and short-term storage of both bulk and general cargoes.
Construction of berths, structures and utilities in accordance with the design was started in 2005, trial operation of the Terminal, in 2007.
Design of a helter harbour in Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka and SPM anchoring system for the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, one-of-the-kind mineral fertiliser complex in the Port of St. Petersburg (Baltic Bulker Terminal), mineral fertiliser complex in Izhevskoye, Kaliningrad Oblast, container terminal in the port of Ventspils, berths 4, 101-104 in the port of Klaipeda.
The major projects include oil terminal construction as a part of the Taman LPG Storage Depot and Yugra Island tourist entertainment complex in the south Russia, preparation of design documentation for the port facilities of the Sakhalin I and Sakhalin II Projects in the Far East, container terminal for Petrolesport ZAO, master plans for the ports of Murmansk and Ust-Luga, and general layout of Yermilovsky district of the seaport of Primorsk, in the North-West Russia.
Waterside structures of the State Palace of Congresses commissioned by the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg were designed by LENMORNIIPROEKT. The project received a certificate of merit from the Union of the Architects of Russia.
Within the context of the POLARNET international project LENMORNIIPROEKT arranged and conducted the first-in-the-world high-latitude survey of the transarctic submarine telecommunication route between Kirkeness (Norway) and Nome (USA).
LENMORNIIPROEKT is the general designer of the Regional Navigation Safety System step-by-step implemented in the Gulf of Finland, prepares detailed drawings and specifications and provides engineering support for construction of navigation passes in the St. Petersburg Flood Protection Barrier.
