The Shtokman project, seaport in a Teribersky bay
The Murmansk region, 2009-2012

Since February, 2010 within the development of the Shtokman gas field Lenmorniiproekt takes on the project of new deep-water port of Teriberka, the Murmansk Region.

Years of design: 2009-2012.

Goods turnover: 500 thousand tons per year of gas condensate and 30 million tons per year of LNG.

Port is intended for export of LNG to Europe by the North European Nord-Stream gas pipeline (Nord Stream).

The port is located in the Teribersky bay, the Barents Sea, in a zone of adverse climatic, geographical, geodetic conditions.

In the area there is no port infrastructure. Construction of the broad range of auxiliary appointment facilities within the port is envisaged.

In port the bunkering of transport vessels of all types is planned. The bunkering base is calculated on 1 million tons per year.

The port complex will be equipped on the international level, with application of new technological designs, modern system of protection, emergency and anti-terrorist protection.
